HELLLLLLLLLLLLLP, I have to make a display board for church on a ministry I'm doing, but I don't know how to go about it.
WHAT IT NEEDS
-A BACKGROUND-i have paint, but i don't know what to do with it
-A THIRD RACE STICKER- I have that but I don't know where to put it
-THE TITLE SOMEWHERE- the title is Word but I don't know where to put it either
-THE GOAL- The goal is "Spread the WORD thourgh school and community"
-THE VERSE- A verse about the word which go with this, one not used very often, can't think of one
ANY ONES help would be greatly appreciated, I have no art bone at all, i can write but on this i'm totally blank. Oh and I need some good colors that go well together. The ideas need to be done ASAP, because it has to be done by Sunday evening. Thanks

Yikes, they sure didn't give you much time to complete this, did they? 
One question, what is a Third Race Sticker??
First, about colors that go together well......well, I like shades of blue/green. But you could also use a purple and lavendar combination. The important thing is to have some dark color and then enough of the medium shade and enough lighter color to complement the dark color. I think you would want mostly medium and light shades of color.
What color paints do you have? This will, of course, affect your choice of color scheme. If you have a blue color, you can always add a little white to it to make a medium blue.....then add more white to make the lighter blue. Then you will have 3 shades of blue to use. You can do this with any color to make different shades.
About placement of the title Word, you could possibly center Word slightly above your Bible verse. (Word should be bigger since it is the title.) Then maybe you could place pictures on the board of people at school or in a community setting....and then perhaps place words that evoke what the pictures mean. For instance, the word helping could be placed by a photo of someone helping another person. You might use other words that show how we spread or share our Christian faith.....like love, kindness, mercy, giving (food, clothes or a Bible), inviting (someone to church or your home), reaching out (to others), etc.
If you don't want to use pictures, try using the words alone. But then you would have to accent the words with decorations.
These are just suggestions....maybe some others have more ideas. It's a little hard trying to describe what I mean......I hope you get the general idea.

What about creating a board that looks like buttered toast (spreading), with word in the middle with a bible. Write a verse on the lower half and surround with pictures of where you would spread the word. school,people,work,ect. just a few ideas to toss out. Hope it comes out well. Have to let us know.

Do you have a concordance in the back of your Bible? You can look up the word "word" and it will give you a list of verses.
If you don't have a concordance, go to crosswalk.com or some other Bible study site and on crosswalk what you would do is click on Online Bible study. This will bring up a page with blanks to fill in . Type word into the blank for the word you are looking up and then either whole Bible or NT then choose the Bible version you want to use. If you don't find it in the one you choose then try another.

Hi 3rd_Rox, how did your display board come out? Tell us a little about it, it would be fun to hear.
I decide a to do more extract(sp) art, I think thats what you call it, considering the Goal was to reaching people in the word, so I paint the back of the board black, and used my handprints all over it, in red, blue, and orange, and then I used stincles and placed WORD at the top kinda up and down like, zig zag to say. This seemed to appeal and to stick out well with the age group I was trying to appeal. But I did take you ideas and tell other people who had to do board and their useing all of them, so thank you SOOO much.
