This is kindof a game/silly little fun thing.
Basically, somebody asks a question about something
unusual about cartoons and then a cartoon expert
on the board (aka anyone who wants to) gives an unusual
answer to it.
For instance I could say:
Why is it that everyone was so afraid of Mugilla Gorilla
when he looked so friendly?
Then if I was pretending to be an expert I could say:
Because he wasn't always so nice. Most people remember
him from America's Most Wanted awhile back, but since
then got saved while he was in prision.
--or--
Its a little known fact that once cartoon gorillas taste human flesh, they'll be man-killers for life!
--or--
He was an annoying census worker.
etc...
You get the idea. The more bizarre the answers, the better!
Okay, here's a question to get started:
Why are the smurfs blue?

:dozing: yeah....they're born that way. They come out full grown so it takes some doing to get them into the world. The process takes about 18 months at the least. That of coarse doesn't include the gestation period of 7 years. They are actually born covered in orange , very curly hair which all falls out in the first 20 seconds of life. Anyway as they age the blue does tend to fade, but they remain some shade of blue their entire lives.

i believe it is a diabolical plot on the part of the cartoonists to keep us all befuddled and debating the shirt/pant/clothes issue while gnomes sneak in and steal our socks... :0
oh...except no one's debating the issue... never mind
