Well what bout goin to your local railway station and take a pic there on the platform of the train as passengers are getting on or off it....it makes people think what kind of hurry are they in or what are their lives like...

How about an industrial scene, or if you live in the country try to catch a farmer working. Or take a close up of an interesting piece of architecture, or an animal - animals in black and white can be quite striking. I like Tash's idea about a railway station.

cemetaries take really good pictures exspecially really old ones with the old tombstones and the vines are growing over some....
but if your into something a little different
Leaves...branches...looking at something through the trees all make different looking neat pictures too.

You want to make the picture interesting to the viewer. One way to do this is to have action in it. The railroad station was a good idea for that. Other places would be a playground with kids, a carosel, a busy street, a sporting event, any place with a lot of movement.
With B&W photography, interesting and unusual angles and shadows also make good pictures. An empty playground would be good. Also, buildings with intersting archetecture, old buildings, alley ways, old barns, skyscrapers, all make good pics.
The cemetary idea is also a good one, too. That would really look cool in B&W.
I would take a lot of pictures - 3 or 4 rolls at least – of different things and see what turns out. Take more than one picture of each subject, because that will give you a better chance of getting a really good pic.
