Does anyone have any favourite Christmas albums?

I would love a suggestion on maybe a rock inspired album. Is there an album out there with rock/alternative artists doing renditions on Christmas songs? Or, ones with some faster beats that the traditional?

Come on your guys! No one has any Christmas Music suggestions for me? I am already sick of the two cds I currently have.

Julia, sorry no one has answered you about their favorite Christmas music. As for myself, I prefer the slower traditional. I do enjoy Country Christmas too. I love the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing also. I don't have a particular CD to pick as a favorite....I have several. Do you like to hear Elvis sing? I dearly love hearing him sing BLUE CHRISTMAS. Hopefully someone else will offer their ideas and favorites.

I too do not really enjoy rock music as much as the traditional. Paul gave me a babyface CD which he says I liked. Can't remember, my CD player broke though so I am mostly listening to music on satellite.
My favorites are Mannheim Steamroller, Kenny G, and David Benoit though.

I'm not into christmas music as you can't get heavy rock/alternative stuff. I only listen the Handel's Messiah, it is the best!!

I like traditional music as well, I just wondered if anyone had done a more modern take on the traditional.

The only ones I have now are Jewel, Bony M...and maybe a Bing Crosby one somewhere.

I've head the David Bowie/Bing Crosby Album is good. I've also heard that Barenaked Ladies have one. Anyone heard it??

I have plenty of Christmas CDs....I just don't like listening to them anymore........

I believe you can get a copy of Hillsong Australia's/Darlene Zschech's Christmas CD, simply called "Christmas." You can listen to and buy it by going to the homepage:
www.hillsong.com/music/ , then clicking on "Catalogue" at the upper left of the screen, then "Compilation" in the middle toward the top, then click on the Christmas CD and you can listen to snippets of the songs. I enjoy it and I hope you do, too!
