Does anyone have a particular song (christian) that seems to hit the mark whenever you hear it? This is sort of the same as the last post I had posted, asking about favorite lyrics, but oh well! It just seems that music has a way of speaking to the soul. Anyone want to share the words/song? I would love to hear of some!!

*Just a question! Do you ever get sort of overwhelmed when listening to a certain type of music? (ex. crying in a song you've heard dozens of times, not knowing quite why but knowing it is almost necessary to do) Hehe, I know people who get that with classical. For me, it's acoustic intimate songs. (refiners fire, the heart of worship, above all, etc) - Is that normal??

I often have to fight back the tears at chruch when I'm singing, sometimes a song that I've sung a hundred times will suddenly touch my heart in a special way.

Pretty much any dramatic music that really touches the emotions - like movie soundtracks - will having me tearing up. At church, as well.. usually I get teary when I clear my mind and focus on the worship song, trying to understand the words.
That's why sometimes I don't like worshipping in a group, when I can't focus because of all the people. Singing alone helps me to worship without any distractions.

OH MY GOSH YOU HAVE TO FIND THAT SONG!!! hehehe.
Not only are the lyrics gorgeous, but the melody is to die for.
If you like 'heart of worship' you will adore this one.
