I'm desperately trying to attach a picture I drew and want to share to a post, but I must be too silly to understand, because when I do try, it tells me there is something wrong! The picture is definitely the right size, I've kept resizing it and resizing it so it is pretty small! The other option it says is that the file is not in the right format, but I have it set as a JPEG, so what could possibly be wrong??

no! It's not on the internet, it's on my hard drive. I was using the file attachments thing that's under where you're typing when you're getting ready to post. It says browse and opens into my hard drive, so I'm assuming that I -can- upload something off my hard drive!

the best thing to do is upload it to your site and post a link to it.

Unfortunately my dumb ol' site won't let me link pictures! My brother said it is something about Geocities that won't let you do that kind of thing. So tough noogies for me, right?

Geocities won't let you post it as an image, but you can post the address of the image as a link...that's what I meant....

or...if you like, e-mail it to me at phoenyxx@msn.com and I will upload it to a site that you can post it as an image from.

Yeah...I was just checking out that 'browse' box yesterday.....guess I hadn't noticed it before,but of course I don't have anythng on my computer to download here.

Right click on the image and then click on properties...that will show you the address of the image. Post that.

And it really would be no trouble to upload it to a site that lets you post images. I do it all the time.

Well, the address thing didn't work when I tried it. :-\ So I'll take up on that offer to have you post it; is that ok?
