Some of you might remember the famous photo of the little girl fleeing down the road after being badly burned by Napalm in the Viet Nam War. The photographer who took the photo also took her to a hospital where she was not expected to live.

Her name is Kim Phuc and after all these years, she has written a memoir about the journey of her life. She is married and lives in Canada. She became a Christian, too. She also speaks at churches about her life and how God reached her through all of her physical and emotional pain.

Proceeds from her book benefit her foundation, the KIM Foundation. The foundation helps child war survivors to get medical and psychological care.

Thanks for the info, Deb!  It goes to show that God can take something bad and turn it around for good later on.
