Dear Lord, I come to You on my knees
Asking for guidance and help... hear me please.
Give me faith to believe. I do trust You so.
Lead me and show me which way to go.

Life is full of decisions to make;
Carry me when I am ready to break.
Help me to trust and give into Your care.
Why do I doubt? I know You are there.

Through trials, triumphs, and life's ups and downs
You always guide me - Your power has no bounds.
Lift me up high no matter what life brings,
Guide me and teach me wonderful things.

Like You

Lord help me to be in Your holy will;
Tell me what to do today;
Lead me in Your righteousness;
Make me more like You, I pray.
Guard me against this corrupting world,
Its perverted priorities, temptations, too.
Direct my mind toward Your commands,
So I can focus my life on You.
Fill my heart with Your light and love,
So I can assist those I see in need;
With You as my role model, let me be
Like You in thought and word and deed.

Casting My Care

Lord I continually set before you
My requests and all my needs
With thanksgiving I come unto you
My concerns unburdened to thee

I wait for your intervention Lord
In quietness of soul and mind
And worship at your footstool
Leaving my cares behind

And Lord I express my thanks for you
For all you are to me
I thank you Lord that I matter to you
Though at times I cannot see

Because of the circumstances in life
The things that I go through
I find my eyes are on the storm
When they should be looking to you

So help me Lord each precious day
No matter what life brings me
To carry on with hope and faith
And to rest in you with peace.

Your Word, O Lord
Is wisdom and truth
And we need to know this
When in our youth

To have it embedded
Deep in our hearts
To never give it up
And never let it part

We need to know
The truth there in
That will lead us to life
And free us from sin

Your Word, O Lord
Is faithful and just
And in your Word
We must put our trust
