It's 14 here and snowing. Roads are bad. Kids went to school but were let out early.
I came home from PCC early because I've never driven the convertible in the snow and was apprehensive about it. People were driving 20 in town where the limit is 35 and 35 on the highway where it is 55. At least they were being careful.
I called Paul and suggested that he might want to think about staying with someone in Indy tonight instead of coming home. It is supposed to be worse there but we'll see. He would be coming home at rush hour too today so that is worse.

5 degrees this morning but sunny. B)
Yesterday afternoon it didn't feel so awful. It was sunny but we still have a lot of snow and more is predicted for tomorrow night into Monday.
The news said this is the longest stretch of below freezing temps since 1977.
Global Warming in action... ;)

25 degrees right now. No snow yet to add to what we already have but it is on it's way. Tonight into tomorrow and possibly Wed. we are predicted to get up to 6 inches of snow nad ice. In Indy they predict 6 - 12 inches with ice so we shall see.

We haven't gotten much snow - 3 or so inches are expected yet tonight. We have had freezing rain and sleet all day. The trees and bushes are beautiful but the threat of broken power lines looms. Everything is covered with a thick layer of ice. Temps are supposed to drop as the night goes on.
More snow north of us. 17 counties are under a snow emergency there.
Paul didn't have to work today. PCC was closed though I didn't plan to go in anyway. They just showed a main street in Indy during the normal rush hour time on a Tuesday and there was no traffic. Many businesses were closed today as they asked people to stay home so that the snow equipment could deal with the snow.

we've had sleet all day here. Though my son likes having the day off from school. And since my work is
closed it makes for a good time to do family activities. Hopefully all heed the advice and stay off the roads
so plows can so their jobs. Expecting another 3"overnight here which will make for a mess over the sleet.
Just glad i do not have to dig out like they did in New York with over 100".
Take care all and stay warm!
