Some great thoughts, Clark!

I recently came across an article about how Christians can donate old\unused Bibles to those that don't have one. You can gather old\unused Bibles that you own, ask family\friends to do the same, perhaps talk to your Church and call some local Churches and gather up any old\unused Bibles, maybe buy some, etc. Then, you can donate them through this website:
Also note that if you don't have a Bible, you can request one from the above website as well.

Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year to you, too.
Btw, I lost the channel again....only that channel. It won't scan into the TV at all. Will keep trying now and then to scan it.
Ken seemed like a very nice person...wonder if he was a Christian. Raising his daughter alone and trying to keep true and loyal, etc.

Well, I'm glad David is still in it. Since he had the nervous condition, I guess I root for him. Also, Hannah seems to be bit of an underdog so I'd like her to stay around....she serves coffee so she could really use the money. Ken seems nice, quite a nice looking guy....a model, so I don't know if he needs the money as much.
Was surprised they got rid of Sunday the youth pastor.
Btw, my tv was getting static most of the program! But I figured out who got booted out.... lol Don't know if these LED tv break that way or not. It's weird...a couple channels are just fine.

Oh, yes, having to pick rocks really did Jess in. She was really upset to go due to that. But she is a district attorney I think, so she doesn't need the prize money as much as other people...
I hope David stays in longer. I'd rather see the red-haired guy go home as he seems tricky.
The youth pastor lady is still in there, too.

Couldn't believe the power couple didn't think their closeness was dangerous. Not a smart move on their part...will be watching tonight.

Yes, Neal really didn't want to drop out but doctor's orders. I guess he didn't think to give his friend his immunity....or maybe he thought that would put a target on her?

Hi, sorry it took me so long to get here. Been busy with the decorating, etc, and then I caught a cold so couldn't come. We've been having very chilly weather for our neck of the woods! : )
Yes, Jeremy won....well, it is nice he is thinking of his family, to help them more.
Actually, toward the end, I was hoping Keith would make it to the end. He seems like a regular guy and being his age, I know the extra money would help him and his wife. I think he is a firefighter, too, like Jeremy.
New season starts in Feb....wow!

Old school and new school strategy being played this season, guess that will change things for the future seasons. Enjoying the challenges. Enjoyed seeing that heavy rain last week (since we rarely have rain here)....wow, they really got drenched!

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.
Fiona, your dinner sounds delicious? We just snacked tonight, but earlier we went to a grill here in town and I had fish tacos. I had never heard of that until last weekend. It was quite delicious. I also had fried onion rings.
The leaves are in their last stages, the maple and oak, most of the rest are gone. It is beautiful here in the Fall. It's been a warm Fall, but it has now begun to freeze. My tomatoes, which grew up volunteer, amazingly, I didn't plant them, are gone, so I brought in the last of them today.
Coffee sounds good, lilacday, I think I'll have a cup, decaf, this time of night.
Debbie, wow, sounds rough. May God watch out for each of them and the horse. Horses don't do well with such trauma, I've read. I hope he makes it. Was he a thoroughbred, or a valuable animal? Maybe I'll see if I can look that up.
Well, blessings all. Have a nice evening.

It's always so nice to receive a thank you for what we try to do here.... helping people as we are able, with God's help.
Just wanted to let you all know that member, NaomiB, wrote to me recently, and thanked us for the help we had given her about 5 years ago! She says she is doing much better now!
Thanks, NaomiB, for remembering us with a thank you!!

Chinese food sounds good. We are going to order Thai in tonight. Too hot to go far for other food.
Supposed to get rain a few days this week, hope we get it in our "basin" area of L.A.

7 A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.
Ecclesiastes 7:1 World English Bible (WEB)
7 A good name is better than fine perfume; and the day of death better than the day of one’s birth.
These are my thoughts.
We are not just to worry about the name we make for ourselves but we need to be concerned that we don’t do damage to His name because we as Christians represent Him.

12 For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
Ecclesiastes 6:12 World English Bible (WEB)
12 For who knows what is good for man in life, all the days of his vain life which he spends like a shadow? For who can tell a man what will be after him under the sun?
These are my thoughts.
The Lord’s know what is best for us so we should submit to His will and word by making Him Lord.
